The study was conducted on a representative sample of 267 enterprises of the food industry in the years 2012 and 2013. The research noted that: enterprises of the food industry operate in a highly competitive market, the Polish membership in the European Union has influenced a major change in the methods, ways and standards of production and the market pressure applied to the implementation of innovations that changed the image of Polish food industry. It was also found that in the area of determining the degree of impact on processes in the areas close to the surveyed enterprises, their function to the greatest extend was affected by: the level of competition between companies, the bargaining power of buyers and bargaining power of suppliers. ; Krzysztof Firlej

Begg is accumulated by an employee expertise, experience and skills, so that it is possible to obtain a higher income by the company. It is a kind of investment in the future and just as physical capital is about to contribute to generate revenue by the company. American neoclassical work by G. Becker Human Capital, published in 1964, develops the idea that for the same reason as technical capital, attained education is also a form of capital. As noted by J. Hausner, decomposition of the innovation potential indicator shows that the only dimensions in which Poland does not place in the lowest positions among the countries of the European Union, are the quality of human capital (education), and - a bit lower - investment companies, and in all other dimensions (system quality research, funding of research, entrepreneurship and linkages, intellectual resources, economic effects) Poland is at the end, and the lowest place in the category of "innovators". . Human capital in the enterprise is treated as a resource, as it focuses capital, labour and entrepreneurship. In other words, it is seen as knowledge, efficiency and human capacity, which determine the growth of its productive capacity. A worker creates his or her ability to work, which is the source of its future income and skilfully adapts to the changing environment, efficiently trying to solve the problems and obtains satisfaction. With human capital company receives income in proportion to its quality. Please visit: http://krzysztoffirlej.pl/; Współczesne systemy doradztwa rolniczego krajów Unii Europejskiej ukształtowały ewolucyjne przemiany i przekształcenia instytucjonalne dokonane w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach. Ewolucja systemu doradztwa rolniczego miała indywidualny przebieg w poszczególnych krajach Unii Europejskiej, co spowodowało ukształtowanie różnych form systemu doradztwa – od państwowego, przez półpaństwowy, aż do prywatnego. Zmiany te z jednej strony były odpowiedzią na potrzeby rolników, z drugiej zaś wynikały ze specyfiki i możliwości budżetowych danego kraju. W ogólnym ujęciu, doradztwo jest działalnością zmierzającą do optymalnego rozwiązywania rodzących się problemów. Doradztwo (ang. extension or advisory) wiąże się z czynnością praktyczną – doradzaniem, które jest zdarzeniem społecznym polegającym na doraźnym działaniu udoskonalającym zachowanie jednostek lub grup, przez udział doradzającego (doradcy) w rozwiązywaniu problemów osób, którym się doradza, problemów dostrzeżonych nie tyle przez te osoby lub grupy, ile przez doradzającego. Z kolei doradztwo rolnicze to multidyscyplinarna dziedzina wiedzy łącząca w sobie elementy wielu nauk, między innymi: pedagogiki (andragogiki), psychologii, socjologii, ekonomii, zarządzania, marketingu. ; Summary: Modern farm advisory systems of the European Union countries were formed under the influence of evolutionary change and institutional transformations which have been made in the recent decades. The evolution of the farm advisory system had a unique course in different countries which resulted in shaping different forms of the advisory system from public, through semi-public to private. The aim of this study is to confirm that the farmers from the most industrialized countries eagerly use the instruments of common agricultural policy in the field of advisory services. It is widely assumed that the proper use of the farm advisory system affects the effectiveness of agricultural production in a specific country, sector or specific trade. The result of the conducted analysis is a thesis that highly developed countries of the Western Europe have been using various forms of agricultural production support for years, including all instruments related to the farm advisory system which favours their agricultural development. Jako, że przedsiębiorstwa przemysłu rolno-spożywczego są nierozerwalnie związane z funkcjonowaniem całego sektora agrobiznesu wcześniej dokonano wyeksponowania mocnych i słabych stron sytuacji wewnętrznej agrobiznesu w fazie pełnego członkostwa w Unii Europejskiej w 2010 r. Przeprowadzono także badania dotyczące diagnozy relatywnych korzyści konkurencyjnych działów o strategicznym znaczeniu dla agrobiznesu tj. rolnictwa i przemysłu spożywczego. Były to badania porównawcze dla wcześniej przeprowadzonych w roku 2007, a więc w 3 lata po przystąpieniu Polski do grupy państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej. Artykuł kończą wnioski na temat czynników wpływających na zmiany w funkcjonowaniu przedsiębiorstw przemysłu rolno -spożywczego w województwie małopolskim, które zmodyfikowały ich strategie działania w ostatnich 3 latach. ; In this article competitiveness and enterprise development opportunities for agribusiness – food in terms of the EU have been assessed. As agribusiness companies – food are inextricably linked to the functioning of the entire agribusiness sectors visibility, strengths and weaknesses of the internal situation of agribusiness in the phase of full membership in the European Union in 2010 have been previously underlined. There were also studies carried out on the relative benefits of competing diagnostic departments of strategic importance for agri-business, i.e. agriculture and food industry. This was a comparative study with the previously conducted in 2007, so in three years after the Polish accession to the group of Member States of the European Union. The programmes of financial support of Polish food economy and their influence on the development and regions of European Union during our full membership are also presented. ; W pracy poddano analizie możliwości wspierania finansowego polskiej gospodarki żywnościowej w okresie przedakcesyjnym i po 2004 roku przez fundusze strukturalne Unii Europejskiej. Oceniono pozycję polskiej gospodarki żywnościowej w aspekcie wynegocjowanego Traktatu Akcesyjnego. Zaprezentowano programy wsparcia finansowego polskiej gospodarki żywnościowej w fazie pełnego członkostwa w Unii Europejskiej oraz ich wpływ na jej rozwój i obszary. W konkluzji stwierdzono, że środki finansowe pochodzące z Unii Europejskiej zapewnią możliwości rozwojowe przedsiębiorstwom pod względem modernizacyjnym i restrukturyzacyjnym. W opracowaniu poruszono kwestię czynnego udziału państwa w rozwoju agroturystyki. ; The paper tackles the issue of agri-tourism in Poland, its contemporary state and functioning and presents it as a subsystem of both tourism and agribusiness. The theoretical part of the paper delineates the main features of agri-tourism and its short history. The main emphasis is put on the attractiveness of agri-tourism as a form of agricultural entrepreneurship. Polskie przedsiębiorstwa już od początku wczesnych lat dziewięćdziesiątych rozpoczęły trudną drogę przystosowania, przekształceń strukturalnych i organizacyjnych umożliwiających im konkurencję na wewnętrznym rynku krajowym, jak i w przyszłym unijnym. W tym celu zostały wyasygnowane przez Unię Europejską i rząd polski specjalne środki finansowe, które miały za zadanie realizację powyższych zamierzeń. Niestety środki przeznaczane na ten cel były zbyt małe, niemniej jednak umożliwiły wsparcie tychże działań podejmowanych przez nasz kraj. ; The article discusses the possibilities of enhancing the competitiveness of the organizational units in Polish agribusiness in the context of their adaptation for the requirements of the European Union. Since early 1990s, Polish companies have been faced with the difficulties of adaptations as well as structural and organizational transformations, which are to enhance their competitiveness, first on the Polish market, and then within the European Union. In order to accomplish these goals, special funds have been assigned by the European Union and the Polish government. This article attempts to present both theoretical and empirical aspects of the changes in energy intensity of GDP in Poland in relation to the European Union. The paper also discusses the objectives, activities and achievements in support of reducing the level of energy intensity of GDP. The study argues that the reduction of energy consumption in the economy should be treated as a priority and a key element of energy policy, because such conduct will support the implementation of its other goals, as well as play a key role in improving the economic efficiency of the economy and positive impact on its competitiveness on the international stage. ; Krzysztof Adam Firlej
